Possibly getting rid of "snail mail" in the future?

Ok if you have not heard that now regular mail you send through the mail man is now called snail mail! I knew that it was called this for a while but I still find it so weird That now regular mail is snail mail! And mailing someone is just to email or text them? Why snail mail , yeah I get it snail because it's slow but still it's not that bad , people have been sending letters this way forever! And I have heard something about how the USPS ( post office) was not making enough money and they might get rid of regular mail in the future. This is crazy to me, that they could be thinking of getting rid of mail! I don't know if it's true or not but if it is true it's pretty sad, what do you guys think of in the future getting rid of mail? Leave a comment bellow!
